Rema Resort

We offer spa and traditional hot-stone bath services. Just befitting the relaxing service of our spa and hot-stone bath, our wellness center is popularly known as Gakiling. Gakiling means a ‘happy place’ and the name just blends throughout. We strive to offer our guests the promised state, the happy state through our wellness services.

Right from the locale of the parlor on a commanding position offers a relaxing scenario of the nature. Get yourself a massage in our parlor for a guaranteed satisfaction of a pleasurable sensory journey. Lie peacefully in the comfort of our massage parlor as our masseuse or the masseur breaks the knots in your aching muscles to comfort you. You will leave energized for a peaceful slumber to the next day’s activities.

Apart from modern bathing, the resort also offers the traditional hot-stone bath. As the stones are reddened by the flames of the fire, they are then immersed into a wooden bathing tub. The water is garnished with local medicinal herbs that catalyzes a relaxing balance of body, mind and the soul. Staying immersed in the wooden bathtub for quite a long time and right after it getting our signature massage will leave you in a heavenly state.

My Favorite Hotel in Bhutan

It was the views from my cottage room overseeing the valley of Paro that made the Remarks Resort my favorite hotel in Bhutan. Oh how I miss that room with those views. The beds had heat warmers which was great to arrive to after hiking in the chilly weather. The hotel restaurant was ok for dinner but I found the breakfast better during my 2 day stay in Paro.

Wonderful property

Wonderful place and amazing staff. The rooms are spacious, the resort is on a small hillock and the views are mesmerizing. They have a small restaurant and they have a decent breakfast spread. The staff is always helpful to make your stay pleasant and ensure that you get the most of the stay. Certainly visiting again.

Beautiful hotel, good stay

Rema Resort was the lodging where we had to stay for the last leg of our trip to Bhutan. Resorts and hotels in Paro are quite scattered, but are located in amazing locations. The same goes for Rema Resort, the rooms of which give a view of the river and the town. Check-in was quick, tea/coffee served as welcome drink.

Heavenly stay in Paro

The property is hardly 2 km from the market area of Paro. Our room was on the first floor with balcony and a pleasent view of the montains and river. The room was very clean and guess what they also provide bed heater. The staff was wonderfully trained and very courteous. Overall, each penny spent was worthwhile.
